First day back at Sunnyside

Sunnyside is the morning class i have for AJ Academy. I dread this class as it starts 8:20am and is only on for half an hour! I feel that it is a pointless class but i need the pennys! This class seemed the worst one to get up for as i havent been here for weeks because of christmas and the pantomime. I turned up to the school on time! and there were the children. They all seemed so happy and excited to share stories with me that happened over christmas. It was lovely but if im honest i only let them share these stories with me because i was too tired.... From a teachers point of view i am aware that this isnt the correct way to act with children but with this being a "wake up class" anything is allowed in this session and im sure the excitement of sharing these stories will wake up the children. When the children finished telling me about their experiences with christmas we then moved onto their favorite routine "whip nae nae". The children love this as they have all learned the original routine in their own time and it has a "cool" vibe when performing it. The older children love to be at the front as they think people are watching them and possibly looking up to them. Personally i hate this song. There is one move in this song that hurts as it means you wiggle your knees together for a long time. The children can do it! I can too, it must mean im getting old....
