Before i attended this lesson, as it was pancake tuesday myself and another peer thought we

should start the day visiting frankie and bennys for pancakes as they were on offer. Another reason for this is because we know ste would be teaching us today! We were also told to be prepared as it was a theory lesson. I dont do well with theory so a good sugar rush maybe the key to stay focused within the lesson. Hence pancakes with syrup and blueberries.

When we arrived at college the lesson started with a brain teaser. The answer was so simple but hard ! That hard i cant remember what it was and wish i had taken a picture with the answer .....

We then discussed our learning outcomes with were:

Evaluate the power and influence of stakeholders in FE and identify key influence in British education. Debate how a topic in British schools should be taught and how it might differ in other countrys.

Associate drivers of curriculum in own subject.

In our mini groups we looked at different Stakeholders in education which means they are the power-interest-influence.

Such as:

Media CQC Sport England NHS OFSTED etc...

The examples of education stakeholders were:

Department of education Ofsted Ofqual- Regulate qualifications Univeristies And many more...

Our group did well with discussing this topic but when we moved on there was problems We then had to look at a variety of curriculum models. We had Malcom Skillbeck. At first i wasnt sure what to talk about but then found his method and it became clear. All groups discussed their model.

It was a hard day but i did learn about what models maybe useful for my education knowledge
