Photoshoot for Uneducated Poster

Writer's picture: hthompson010392hthompson010392

After this mornings session with Performing Arts we asked if the students who do not attend English and Maths to come to a photo-shoot that will help put together a poster for the upcoming show. We did not have many props or costume to help as this was a last minute slot and thought we should do this now as we have the chance to get it done. Luckily i had brought my "teachers trolley" with me. My trolley consists of different types of stationary, books and boxes. This was an easy prop for the students to use as we shared stationary out. One of our students also went on a hunt within the college to find a dinner lady outfit and succeeded. For some reason handing out these props to each student made the atmosphere for exciting which made the students perform to the camera better. This could be because the props made them feel like a character as it was something to play around with.

Being involved in this photoshoot was a great opportunity for our students as they got to experience how a professional photoshoot works. We had the use of a proper green screen, lighting and the programme leader also brought in a professional photographer that knew how to work with lighting and shade.

Myself and Matt were there for support and to give direction to the students.

Unfortunately i now need to buy more stationary....
